Welcome to Nepal!

Nepal is a beautiful destination with diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Before you set out on your adventure, here are some key details about entering the country and obtaining a visa.

Visa Information: Most travelers need a visa to enter Nepal. Fortunately, the visa process is straightforward. You can obtain a visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport or at various land border crossings. Make sure you have a valid passport and sufficient cash for the visa fee.
Visa for SAARC Citizens: If you are a citizen of a SAARC country (excluding Afghanistan), you are eligible for a free visa for up to 30 days on your first visit within a visa year, making your travel to Nepal more convenient and cost-effective.
Visa for Indian Citizens: Indian citizens do not require a visa due to the open border policy between Nepal and India, which allows for seamless travel and easy access to both countries for tourism, business, and family visits
Visa for Other Nationals: Travelers from other countries can get a tourist visa from Nepalese embassies in their home countries or upon arrival. Ensure your visa is used within six months from the date of issue.
On-Arrival Visa: At Tribhuvan International Airport, you can fill out an online visa application form, make the visa fee payment, and get your visa at the immigration desk. It’s a good idea to carry cash for the visa fee as card payments might not always be available.
Enjoy your trip to Nepal and explore its stunning landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality!
