Ghale Gaun is a SAARC eco model village located in the Lamjung District of Nepal, inside the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP). It reflects the lifestyle of the indigenous Ghale (Gurung) community and is famous for its home stays, where local people's houses are modified into lodges where visitors can share a common kitchen and enjoy local and organic cuisines. The specialty of home stays is that visitors can not only closely observe, but also feel and live the local culture at an affordable price. The hospitality of the people here attracts visitors, and the cultural songs and dances in traditional attire leave everyone spellbound. A cultural museum gives a glimpse of how indigenous people lived here, preserving their originality and lifestyle.

In addition to its culture, the village offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and wide, stretched hilly landscapes. There is a view tower at an elevation where visitors flock every morning to see the sunrise, which temporarily paints the Himalayan range a golden yellow. Near the view tower is an open space where camping can be done. A playground below the elevation is always full of athletes, especially soccer players, in the evening, and the village has a wonderful enthusiasm for games and sports. It hosts different tournaments at different times of the year. A temple nearby the playground is a revered pilgrimage site for the village, and a small model tea garden adds aesthetic value to the place. Furthermore, the village is connected by free Wi-Fi access.
