Mardi Himal Trekking
Mardi Himal Trekking

The Mardi Himal Trek is a short and scenic trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It leads to the base of Mardi Himal with breathtaking views of Mount Annapurna, Hiuchuli, and Machhapuchhre. This trek is ideal for those who have limited time but a strong desire to explore the Himalayas. Starting from Pokhara (750m), trekkers journey to the Mardi base camp (3600m) through changing landscapes, lush pine forests, and vibrant rhododendron flowers, and interact with friendly local communities.

The trek was officially opened in 2012 and remains largely secluded from the crowds. The itinerary can range from 2 days to a week, depending on the trekker\'s physical endurance and if other destinations are included. The trek can start from Kande or Phedi, both offering unique experiences. Despite lacking luxurious accommodations, there are small tea stations and local homestays available for a comfortable stay. The tranquility and natural beauty of Mardi Himal will make the hardships of the trail well worth it.
